Shopping for spring dresses is one of my favorite parts about transitioning between seasons.

I think it reminds me of being a kid and shopping with my mom for new spring dresses and matching white shoes. Do you remember those days? I even had ruffly socks and a white hat to wear to church on Easter! Think I could still pull it off?

Anyway, I guess I never quite grew out of my love of playing dress-up. I still sometimes go to Target just to pick out five outfits just to try them on!

And let's be honest - if you're planning on shopping for new spring dresses, Target is one of the best places to go! Target is consistently on-trend and affordable. Win-win!

Flirty Florals

I love that sleeves are finally a thing! It seems like for the longest time, everything had tank straps - not a great option for midwesterners like myself. Thankfully, Target is giving us spring dresses with sleeves so we don't have to wear a stuffy-looking cardigan over everything anymore!

This maxi dress is the perfect length, and the empire waist is super flattering on every figure. The flutter sleeve balances out us ladies with curvy hips, too, making this a super flattering and feminine option.

If you're comfortable showing off a little leg, this crew neck dress is another fun and flirty option. It comes in a few different patterns as well as plus size. You could also pair it with leggings for a more modest (but equally adorable) look.

Last, the off-the-shoulder trend hasn't gone anywhere, making this smocked-top dress a fun option for this season! The ruffle detail at the cuff of the sleeve gives this pretty floral dress an extra dose of flair.

Cute & Casual

Jumpers & t-shirt dresses are super trendy and so comfy. I love that looking cute can be easy in these adorable spring dresses! These outfits are perfect for laying with a plain long-sleeve tee or a denim jacket for those cooler spring days.

T-shirt dresses like this one are effortlessly comfortable. It's essentially like wearing an oversized t-shirt without pants! What's better than that?! This plus-sized t-shirt dress comes in a shade of gray that looks beautiful with every skin tone and pairs well with a light jacket and sneakers.

Jumpers have been a major trend this past year! I noticed some warm-toned jumpers hitting the scene this fall, and now pastel tones are the perfect solution for spring.

This denim plus-sized jumper is a cute, youthful look with a zip front and adjustable straps. You can also expect to see pastel greens, purples and pinks for spring, like this sage green jumper.

Keeping it casual doesn't mean you can't stand out! These last two casual spring dresses are both flattering and eye-catching. I loved this acid-wash denim dress the moment I saw it. Shift dresses are super easy to pull off for almost any body shape, and the acid wash detail gives it the perfect amount of edge.

Stripes Forever!

Vertical stripes really caught on last spring, and they're here to stay! These spring dresses and jumpsuits are figure flattering and timelessly pretty.

The older I get, the more I appreciate a good dress. A dress is all one piece, which means I don't even have to think about wearing pants. Which is a total win in and of itself, am I right?

Wearing a cute dress can also make me feel effortlessly feminine and pretty. I can look like I put in a lot of effort to dress up, but when it comes down to it, throwing on a dress is easier and usually more stylish than most of the other outfits I own!

They're easy to accessorize or layer with jackets and leggings as well, and don't even get me started with shoes! Simply put, dresses are cute and versitile.
